POSITION: Administration / Recruitment Assistant
Vetlink Employment Service is searching for exceptional veterinary nurses to join our Sydney team. This role would be ideal for a veterinary nurse/receptionist to branch off into a new profession. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our supportive and friendly team.
HOURS: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
SALARY: Generous salary package and assistance with relocation if required
START DATE: Very flexible - 2019 (not before mid-June)
LOCATION: Pyrmont, Sydney | New South Wales | Australia - Beautiful modern office with a stunning view of the city!

Vetlink is owned by a qualified veterinarian with over 20 years recruiting experience. We currently employ 6 recruitment consultants (all from veterinary backgrounds) and 8 administration/accounts staff. Our offices are based in Sydney and Perth.

YOUR DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assisting our veterinary recruiters
- Taking incoming phone calls
- Maintaining our database
- Preparing applications
- Creating job adverts
- Content writing
- Digital marketing
- Drafting emails

THE ROLE OF RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT WILL INCLUDE:
- Building relationships with new and existing clients and candidates (vets and vet nurses)
- Assessing candidates
- Matching candidates to clients who are looking to employ staff
- Attending trade fairs
- Visiting vet schools and clients
- Interstate and overseas travel is a real possibility
This is a busy and varied role. Therefore, excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask are essential!
